DISCLAIMER

  • The App captures data of only 1300+ /1405 Urban IT enabled towns covered under IPDS /R-APDRP. The data/information is provided by respective Discoms from their IT systems. MoP, GoI and PFC are not responsible for any error/inaccuracy in the information and sanitization of data is a continuous process.

  • The town level Average number of power cuts/month and Average duration of power cuts/month are captured at 11 kV feeder level through the IT system and do not include short duration transient faults. The Discom, State and All-India level figures are aggregated from the town level data of Urban IT enabled towns only.

  • The figures of Power loss/theft at Discom level are based on latest available provisional (un-audited) progressive Quarterly AT&C loss data as provided by the respective Discoms. The State and All-India level figures are aggregated from the aforesaid Discom level AT&C loss data. The Town level figures are generated from the IT system in Urban IT enabled towns.

  • The figures for Pending Consumer complaints are based on the town-wise data of complaints captured through the IT system but not yet resolved. The figures for Discoms, State and All-India level are aggregated from the aforesaid town level data only.

  • The figures of Pending Connections may include the connections which have been released but not yet updated in GIS / IT system.

  • E-payment figures are calculated based on number of consumers making e-payments vis-à-vis total number of consumers making payments in a town. The figures for Discoms, State and All India level are aggregated from the aforesaid town data only.

  • “Invalid " is displayed in case of error in the data , “Not Provided” is displayed in case data is not provided by Discoms and State, “NA “ is displayed in case State, Discom or Town is not applicable under the scheme. For validity of data and quality , following checks are applied:

    1) Average number of power cuts/month and Average duration of power cuts/month is valid if:
    • Average number of power cut / month is more than 0.5 AND
    • Average duration of power cut/month is 15 min or more AND
    • Avg Duration of power cut in a month / Avg no . of power cut in a month equal to or more than 0.25 and less than 24 AND
    • No of feeders providing data are more than 33% of total feeders of town/discom /state
    2) E-payment is valid if:
    • Value is 0-50%
    3) Power loss/ theft is valid if:
    • Value is 4-95%
  • The State (30 No.s) / Discom (48 No.s) ranking is for indicative purpose only and does not make any judgmental recommendation on the overall performance of the States/ Discoms. The aim is to generate a sense of positive competition and sharing of best practices.

  • The figures on IPDS Dashboard pertain to the progress of various components of IPDS/R-APDRP projects as reported to PFC by the Discoms.

  • IPDS NIT and Award progress on IPDS dashboard is based on the progress attained by end of the month and is updated on monthly basis.

  • Value indicated in the NIT Status on IPDS Dashboard is limited to Sanctioned Value in Rs. Cr.

  • Contents on APP would not lead to any legal claim on part of individuals / companies/ institutions/ group of industries etc for any purpose.
